COVID-19 Protocol Update 7/8/2020
With the recent increase in positive tests and hospitalizations in the state of TN, we wanted to be proactive in our procedures to ensure the safest possible environment for ALL of our customers and their families. We want to remind you of a few policies that we have had in place, but have been “relaxed” in enforcing, but will now be “tightening up”, as well as, updating a few of our protocols to reflect necessary precautions.
1. Drop off and pick up procedures for both locations
1. MURFRESSBORO Ages 6 & Up, are to be DROPPED OFF at the front entrance where temperatures will be taken. These athletes are to be PICKED UP on the playground side of the building to minimize contact in the corridors.
2. MURFREESBORO Ages 5 & under can be dropped off, and exit through the front door.
3. SMYRNA students Ages 6 & up, are to be DROPPED OFF at the normal front entrance, but will be RELEASED TO PARENTS at the glass doors nearest the trampolines.
4. SMYRNA Ages 5 & under may enter and exit through the regular front entrance.
2. We are continuing to ask, and as necessary will enforce, that students ages 6 & Up be DROPPED OFF, without a parent staying inside during class.
1. If you believe you have a special reason for staying, we will be allowing ONLY 1 ADULT, per family to stay and watch inside the building.
2. We will be REQUIRING ALL adults who enter the building to be wearing a mask.
3. Parents of children ages 5 & under may stay and watch, still under the previous guidelines of 1 adult per family, wearing a mask.
3. Our Upper level All Stars (level 3+), USAG Team and Camp attendees will be required to bring masks with them, and during situations where social distancing is proving difficult, they will be required to put their mask on.
In addition, we will continue our rigorous cleaning between uses, hand washing, and mask wearing for our employees.
Please remember, we don’t WANT to do any of this. We are praying daily for miraculous intervention. However, we have students, family members, and even employees who have some form of vulnerability, and we want these people to be able to reasonably participate. In order to minimize the risk for everyone, these precautions are NECESSARY. In addition, we have a responsibility as business, to do all we can to remain open. A second forced shut down, may cause the end of ETC Gymnastics. If it means we must be inconvenienced temporarily in order to permanently keep these 61 people employed, then we will make the sacrifice.
