 ETC Gymnastics Finish First in Florida

The ETC Girls Gymnastics Teams fought hard in Orlando, Florida and came away with first, second, and fifth place finishes. The level 5 team brought home the first place trophy with three girls placing first All-Around. Audrey Baxter led her team with a 35.725 taking gold AA. She also won gold on Vault and Bars. Silver on Beam and Bronze on Floor. Frankie Palmer also took first AA, 35.175. She was first on Bars and first on Beam. She placed sixth on Vault and seventh on Floor. Kaitlyn Roller was first AA, 35.175, second on Floor, third on Vault, Bars, and Beam. Alexa Person moved up to level 5 for this meet and placed third AA, 35.35. She also took second on Vault and Bars, third on Beam and forth on Floor. Hannah McCrary also moved up to level 5 and placed forth AA, 34.725. She was second on Vault, forth on Floor, fifth on Beam, sixth on Bars. Elizabeth Jordan placed fifth AA, 34.2. She was forth on Bars, fifth on Beam, and seventh on Vault and Floor. Mary Grace Bouldin was sixth AA, 34.2. She was forth on Beam, sixth on Floor, seventh on Vault and Bars. Faith Hutchins was seventh AA, 32.775. She was forth on Beam, eighth on Vault and Floor, and ninth on Bars.

The level 4 team brought home second place with three girls taking first in the AA. Erin Gilbert had the highest AA on her team with 37.6. She was first on Vault, second on Bars, third on Beam, forth on Floor. Lexi Miner was first AA with 37.55. She took gold on Vault and Beam, and silver on Bars, bronze on Floor. Haleigh Timberlake was also first AA, 37.15. She was first on both Vault and Beam, and second on Bars, seventh on Floor. Becca Gilbert was second AA with 37.25. She was second on Vault, third on Bars, fifth on Floor, seventh on Beam. Lauren Walker placed forth AA with 36.975. She placed first on both Bars and Beam, sixth on Floor, thirteenth on Vault. Ansley Phillips was fifth AA with 36.475. She was third on Vault, sixth on Bars, eighth on Beam, eleventh on Floor. Mackenzie Harris placed second AA with 36.425. She was first on Bars, second on both Beam and Floor, and tenth on Vault. Jaicea Hazelwood was forth AA also with a 36.425. She was first on Bars, forth on Vault, eighth on Beam, tenth on Floor. Abbigail Morrow placed forth AA with 36.1. She was first on Bars, forth on Beam, sixth on Floor, and seventh on Vault. Kelci Williams placed fifth AA with 35.725. She was forth on Floor, fifth on both Bars and Beam, and sixth on Vault.

At Level 6, DeLaina McDonald took first in the AA with 36.35. She was first on Beam, second on Vault, and forth on both Bars and Floor. Lauren Allen placed second AA with 35.6. She was second on Bars and Beam, third on Floor and eighth on Vault. The compulsory level girls are coached by Shannon Lee, Leslee Kisler, and Jenna Lloyd.

The Level 7 girls were led by Cha’Nise Dalton who took third AA with 36.525. She was second on Bars, forth on Vault, fifth on Beam, eleventh on Floor. Zoe Schott placed forth AA with 36.6. She was first on Beam, third on Bars, eighth on Floor, ninth on Vault. Sarah Gerry was twelveth AA, 33,875. She was tenth on Bars, Beam, and Floor, thirteenth on Vault.

The Level 9 team placed fifth. They were led by Alexis Taylor who scored a 35.875 in the AA taking forth. She was first on Beam, forth on Bars, fifth on Floor, and eighth on Vault. Alyssa Dupie was second AA with 35.6. She took first on Bars, forth on Vault, fifth on Floor, and seventh on Beam. Jordan Sims was seventh AA with 34.75. She placed second on Vault, forth on Bars, ninth on Floor, and eleventh on Beam. Maddie Tallman placed eighth AA with 34.725. She was third on Bars, seventh on Vault, ninth on Floor, and tenth on Beam. Casey Neely skipped level eight and competed as a level nine placing ninth in the AA with 33.125. She was seventh on both Beam and Floor, ninth on Vault, and tenth on Bars. The optional level girls are coached by Ken and Jennifer Harris.


ETC Strong in Franklin

ETC Boys’ Gymnastics Team showed their strength in Franklin recently. The level 4 team placed fifth.  Leading the way was Landen McDonald, 10, with a 53.2 All-Around score placing third. He took first in two events: Vault with a 9.3 and Rings with a 9.2. He placed second on Parallel Bars with 8.9 and second on Pommel with 8.7. He secured a third place finish on Floor with a 9.1 and fifth on High Bar with 8.0. Wes Lemmons, 12, took forth in the AA with 51.95. He placed second on both High Bar, 8.6 and Floor, 9.25.  He was forth on both Parallel Bars and Pommel with 8.7 and 8.3. He placed eighth on Rings, 8.2 and ninth on Vault, 9.1. Brennan Brooks, 10, placed sixth AA with 49.9. He was sixth on Parallel Bars, 8.4, and sixth on Pommel, 7.7. He placed seventh on Rings and Vault, 8.6 and 9.1. He placed eighth on High Bar and Floor, 7.6 and 8.5. Blake Hutchins, 8, placed ninth on Parallel Bars with an 8.5.  

The level 5 boys were impressive with Ben Waldecker, 10, placing tenth in the AA with 49.9. He earned first on Floor with a 9.3, fifth on Vault with 9.3, sixth on rings with 8.2, ninth on High Bar with 8.1 and tenth on both Parallel Bars and Pommel, 8.3 and 6.7. Blake Taylor, 10, placed tenth on three events, Vault, 9.1, Floor, 8.5, and Rings, 8.0. The boys are coached by Ken Harris.


ETC Flip Fest Champions

ETC’s levels 7 and 9 traveled to Knoxville recently for their first meet of the season. The level 9 team came home victorious with the first place team trophy. 

Leading the team with second in the All Around with a score of 35.675 was Alexis Taylor, 13. She earned first on Bars with 8.95. She placed second on Beam, 9.225, sixth on Vault, 8.725, and ninth on Floor, 8.775. Jordan Sims, 13, placed sixth AA with 33.725. She finished first on Vault with 9.175, second on Bars with 8.575, tenth on Floor, 8.725 and twelveth on Beam, 7.25. Maddie Tallman, 13, placed seventh AA with 33.5. She was fifth on Bars, 8.15, seventh on Floor, 8.85, eighth on Beam, 8.15 and ninth on Vault, 8.35. Alyssa Dupie, 14, placed eighth AA with 32.95.   She was second on Beam with 8.975, third on Vault, 8.875, sixth on Floor, 8.9. Casey Neeley, 11, was tenth AA. She placed forth on Beam with 8.8, eighth on Floor, 8.85, and twelveth on Vault, 7.875.

The level 7 team placed sixth. They were led by Zoe Schott, 9, who placed second in the AA with a 37.525.
She was first on Bars with 9.475, first on Beam with 9.625, second on Floor with 9.375 and sixth on Vault,
9.05. Cha’Nise Dalton, 10, placed forth AA with 35.35. She was second on Vault with 9.525, third on Floor with 9.3, and sixth on Bars, 8.575. Sarah Gerry, 9, placed ninth on Vault, 8.775 and ninth on Beam, 8.75. The girls are coached by Ken and Jennifer Harris.
 


ETC Gymnastics State Champions

Etc Gymnastics secured the coveted State Championship this season at Level 4. Leading the team with a 38.6 All-Around was Alexa Person, 9, taking the silver medal. She is the Tn Bars State Champion with a 9.85. She placed fourth on Floor with a 9.675, fifth on Beam, 9.575, and scored 9.5 on Vault. Kalynn Kimbel, 8, was also second in the AA with 38.45. She is the Tn Vault Champion with a 9.9. She was second on Beam with 9.475, tenth on Bars, 9.625, twelveth on Floor, 9.475. Hannah McCrary,7, was also AA silver medalist with a 38.425. She earned second on Vault, 9.775, second on Bars, 9.75, second on Beam, 9.475, and tenth on Floor, 9.425. Erin Gilbert, 8, placed forth AA with a 38.175. She is Tn Bars State Champion with a 9.825. She placed second on Floor, 9.625, and thirteenth on Beam, 9.175. She scored 9.55 on Vault.  Haleigh Timberlake, 6, placed second AA with 38.15.   She is TN Bars State Champion with 9.75. She earned second on Beam with 9.575, and fifth on both Vault, 9.5 and Floor, 9.35. Lexi Minor, 7, placed fourth AA with 38.125. She was second on Bars, 9.75, fourth on Beam, 9.275, sixth on Vault, 9.65, and seventh on Floor, 9.45. Becca Gilbert, 8, placed eleventh AA with 37.7. She was third on Bars, 9.725, third on Floor, 9.6, and fourth on Vault, 9.725. Kelsi Williams, 8, was also eleventh AA with 37.7. She was eleventh on Beam, 9.225, and fourteenth on Floor, 9.425. She scored 9.55 on Vault, and Bars, 9.5. Jaicea Hazelwood, 10, was sixth AA with a 37.65. She was fourth on Vault, 9.7, fifth on Beam, 9.05, ninth on Floor, 9.2, and fourteenth on Bars, 9.7. Mackenzie Harris, 7, was eighth AA with 37.65. She is Tn Bars State Champion with a 9.875. She was fourth on Floor, 9.525, eighth on Vault, 9.575, and eleventh on Beam, 8.675. Abbigail Morrow, 8, was sixteenth AA with a 37.525. She was second on Beam, 9.45 and fourth on Bars, 9.7. She scored 9.275 on Vault, and Floor, 9.2  Ansley Phillips, 10, was eighth AA with 37.225. She placed sixth on Bars, 9.475, seventh on both Beam, 9.025, and Floor 9.225, and ninth on Vault, 9.5.   Lauren Walker, 9, was twentieth AA with 37.225. She placed fourteenth on Bars, 9.425. She scored 9.425 on Vault, Beam, 9.175, and Floor, 9.2.

The Level 5 Team is State Runners Up with Kaitlyn Roller, 8, leading her team scoring a 38.025 All-Around placing third. She was also third on Floor with 9.6, third on Bars with 9.55, fourth on Beam, 9.525 and fourth on Vault, 9.35. Also leading her team was Madison Bivins, 11, with a 38.0 AA placing second. She is TN Bars State Champion with 9.7 and Tn Beam State Champion with 9.75. She placed second on Floor with 9.525 and eighth on Vault, 9.025. Audrey Baxter, 9, placed fourth AA with 37.925. She is Tn Bars State Champion with 9.725. She was fifth on Vault, 9.475, seventh on Beam, and seventeenth on Floor, 9.25. Elizabeth Jordan, 9, was fifth AA with 37.775. She is Tn Bars State Champion also with 9.725. She placed eighth on Beam, 9.425, ninth on Vault, 9.225, and thirteenth on Floor, 9.4. Frankie Palmer, 8, placed fifth AA with 37.725. She was second on Bars, 9.725 and second on Beam, 9.725. She earned fifth on Floor, 9.525 and seventh on Vault, 8.75. Alyson Rock, 10, placed fourth AA with 37.550.
She earned the silver on Bars with a 9.85, eighth on Vault, 9.4, ninth on Floor, 9.4 and scored 8.9 on Beam. Mary Grace Bouldin, 9, was seventeenth in the AA with 36.125. She was eighth on Bars, 9.35, tenth on Floor, 9.5 and scored 8.825 on Vault, and 8.45 on Beam. Faith Hutchins, 9, was third AA with 35.275.  She placed second on Floor, 9.275, second on Beam, 9.1, seventh on Bars, 8.6 and tenth on Vault, 8.3.

She earned third on Floor with 9.675 and fourth on Beam with 8.9. DeLaina McDonald, 8, also was the silver medalist in the AA with 36.5. She is the Tn Beam State Champion with 9.375 and Tn Floor State Champion with 9.575. She placed second on Bars with 8.4 and third on Vault with 9.15. Tatum Myers, 9, placed eighth AA with 36.175. She was third on Floor, 9.6 and third on Beam, 9.5. She was eighth on Bars, 8.225 and twelveth on Vault, 8.85. Caitlyn Booker, 9, was ninth AA with 36.0. She was sixth on Vault, 9.475, seventh on Bars, 8.325, tenth on Floor, 9.225, and thirteenth on Beam, 8.4. Lauren Allen, 11, placed sixth AA with 35.0. She was sixth on Bars, 8.375, sixth on Beam, 8.65, seventh on Floor, 9.125, and tenth on Vault, 8.85. Kennedy Kimbel, 10, could only compete two events due to injury. She placed seventh on Bars, 8.525 and seventeenth on Beam with 8.7. The teams are coached by Shannon Aplin, Leslee Kiser, and Jenna Loyd.


ETC Gymnastics Grand Champions at Fall Festival Invitational

ETC’s Levels 4, 5, and 6 all captured the first place team trophies at the Hendersonville Fall Festival recently. They defeated seventeen other teams from all over the state. The Level 6s were led by Madison Myers, 11, with first place on every event. She won the All-Around with a 36.925 and scored 9s or above on each event with an impressive 9.5 on Beam. Caitlin Booker, 9, was also first in the AA with a 36.8. She placed third on Vault with 9.3, first on Bars with 9.225, second on Beam, 9.375, and fifth on Floor, 8.9.

Meg Tomayko, 9, placed second AA with 36.0. She scored a 9.6 on Vault taking first, second on Bars, fifth on Beam, and third on Floor. Tatum Myers, 9, placed third in the AA with 35.95. She was amazing on Beam with a 9.675 taking first, 9.25 was fifth on Vault, sixth on Bars, second on Floor. DeLaina McDonald, 8, was sixth AA with a 34.775. She placed seventh on Vault, 9.225, sixth on Bars, and forth on Floor, 8.95. Lauren Allen, 11, was third AA in her age group with a 34.45. She placed second on Vault, forth on Bars, forth on Beam, and sixth on Floor.

Kennedy Kimbel, 10, only competed in two events due to a foot injury but she placed third on Bars and forth on Beam with a 9.225.

The Level 5s were led by Alyson Rock, 10, winning first place in three events including the All-Around with a 37.475. She was first on Bars with a 9.525, first on Beam with 9.675, second on Vault, 9.3 and forth on Floor, 8.975. Madison Bivins, 11, was also first in three events. She won the AA with a 37.175.

She took first on Bars with 9.625, first on Beam with an amazing 9.725, second on Floor with 8.95, and fifth on Vault, 8.875. Frankie Palmer, 7, was second AA with a 36.625. She placed first on Beam also scoring a huge 9.725. She was second on Vault, 9.075, third on Bars and third on Floor. Kaitlyn Roller, 8, placed third AA with 36.525. She was first on Bars with 9.175, second on Beam, 9.275, second on Floor, 9.325, and forth on Vault. Audrey Baxter, 9, placed second AA with 36.225. She placed third on Beam with 9.35, forth on both Vault and Bars and ninth on Floor.
Elizabeth Jordan, 9, placed third AA with 35.95. She won first place on both Bars, 9.425 and Beam, 9.55 and placed second on Vault, 9.375. Mary Grace Bouldin, 9, placed twelveth AA with 34.275. She was eighth on Bars and seventh on Floor, 8.95.

The Level 4s had seven girls with All-Around scores of 37 or above. Alexa Person led her team with first on three events including AA Champion with a 37.85. She was first on Bars with a huge 9.8. She was also first on Floor, 9.4 and second on Beam, 9.5. Kalynn Kimbel, 8, was also first on three events, first AA with a 37.825, first on Vault with a record high score of 9.9, and first on Floor, 9.325. She was fifth on Bars, 9.4 and eighth on Beam, 9.2. Becca Gilbert, 8, was second AA with 37.65. She was first on Bars with 9.6, second on Vault, 9.6, fifth on Beam, 9.3, and sixth on Floor, 9.15. Erin Gilbert, 8, was third in the AA with 37.57. She placed second on Bars, 9.475, third on Vault, 9.6, forth on Floor, 9.25 and seventh on Beam, 9.25. Lexi Miner, 7, was first on three events including the AA with a 37.55. She was first on Beam, 9.5, first on Floor, 9.275, third on Bars, 9.25, forth on Vault, 9.525. Hannah McCrary, 7, placed second AA with 37.425. She was also second on Bars, 9.65, third on Vault, 9.55, fifth on Beam, 9.15, and sixth on Floor, 9.075. Mackenzie Harris, 7, was third AA with 37.1. She placed first on Bars with a 9.725, second on Beam, 9.25, seventh Vault, 9.475, and twelveth on Floor. Abbigail Morrow, 8, had an AA of 36.975. Jaicea Hazelwood, 10, placed fifth AA, 36.525. She was second on both Vault, 9.625 and Bars, 9.45, eighth on Floor, twelveth on Beam. Haleigh Timberlake, 6, placed second AA with a 36.4. She was first on Bars, second on Vault, 9.55, second on Beam, 9.45, and second on Floor. Kelci Williams, 8, placed eighth on Bars, 9.0, tenth on Beam, 9.025, and eleventh on Floor, 8.9. Lauren Walker, 9, placed seventh on Bars, 9.025, tenth on Floor, 8.95, and thirteenth on Beam, 8.85. Ansley Phillips, 10, placed third on Beam, 9.2, sixth on Vault, 9.4, and eighth on Bars, 8.775. ETC Fantastic at Foothills Fall Classic

ETC Gymnastics traveled to Maryville, TN recently to compete in the Foothills Fall Classic.

The Level 4 team took second place honors with an impressive team score of 114.075 missing first by .05.  The team was led by Alexa Person, 9, with a 38.325 All-around score placing first. She accomplished a
rare feat taking a 9.5 or better on every event. She  placed first on Vault with a 9.5 and first on Bars, 9.775. She earned second on both Beam, 9.5 and Floor, 9.55. Erin Gilbert, 8, earned a 37.875 AA score. She also placed first in the All-around. She earned a 9.65 on Vault taking first and a 9.35 on Bars also first. She placed fifth on Beam with a 9.3 and second on floor with a 9.575. Becca Gilbert, 8, earned second AA with a 36.9. She placed forth on Vault,  9.25 and forth on Bars, 9.075. She was sixth on Beam, 9.025 and third on Floor, 9.55. Jaicea Hazelwood, 10, placed first AA with a 36.9. She earned first on Bars, 9.3; Beam, 9.0, and Floor, 9.425 and third on Vault with a 9.175. She was first on Vault, 9.025, second on Bars, 9.275, forth on Beam, 8.65 and third on Floor, 9.075. Abbigail Morrow, 8, took seventh in the AA with 35.825. She placed second on Bars with a 9.225 and seventh on Floor, 9.275. Haleigh Timberlake, 6, earned third in the All-around with a 35.475. She was forth on Vault, 9.175, third on Bars, 8.65, third on Beam 9.0 and forth, Floor, 8.65. Kelci Williams, 8, was eighth AA, 35.225. She placed third on Beam with a 9.35. She was first on both Bars and Beam, 9.55 and 9.7, and fifth on both Vault and Floor, 8.5 and 8.8. Audrey Baxter, 9, placed sixth AA with a 36.475. She earned first on Bars, 9.35, eighth, Beam, 9.175, and seventh, Floor, 9.15. Elizabeth Jordan, 9, placed eighth AA with 36.375. She was second on Bars, 9.325, tenth on Vault, 8.825, and fifth on Beam, 9.475. Kaitlyn Roller, 8, placed third AA, 36.05. She earned third on Vault, 9.0, Bars, 8.825, and Floor, 9.225. She also placed forth on Beam, 9.2. Frankie Palmer, 7, placed forth AA. She earned first on Beam with a 9.4, second on Bars, 9.0, and fifth on Vault, 8.8. Mary Grace Bouldin, 9, took eleventh AA, 34.45. She was ninth on Vault, 8.85.

The Level 6 team also earned third place. They were led by Madison Myers, 11, with an All-around of 37.375 earning first place. She also placed first on Bars with a 9.2 and first on Floor with a 9.525. She was third on Vault, 9.325 and forth on Beam, 9.325.  Caitlin Booker, 9, placed third AA with 35.875. She earned second on Bars and Beam with 8.85 and 9.6.  Tatum Myers, 9, placed sixth AA with 35.225. She was forth on Bars, 8.425 and sixth on Beam, 8.9. Meg Tomayko, 9, was seventh AA, 34.525. She placed sixth on both Vault and Bars, 9.1 and 8.1, and fifth on Floor, 9.175. DeLaina McDonald, 8, placed eighth AA, 34.425. She earned third on Beam, 9.35 and forth on Floor, 9.225. ETC Gymnastics Victorious at Gallatin Meet

ETC took their compulsory gymnasts to Gallatin recently for the You’re the One Invitational. The Level 5 Team brought home the First Place trophy with a team score of 109.35. Alyson Rock, 10, led her team with a 36.575 All-Around score taking first in her age group. She also placed first on Floor with a 9.325 and first on Beam with a 9.30. She placed second on Vault, 9.0 and second on Bars, 8.95. Madison Bivins, 11, placed 2nd in the All-Around with a 36.075. She took second place honors on Floor,9.225, Vault, 9.0, and Beam, 9.0. She placed third on Bars, 8.85. Frankie Palmer, 7, placed first in the AA with a 35.575. She took first on Bars, 9.025, second, Floor, 8.9, Beam, 8.825, and Vault, 8.825. ETC’s Level 4 Team earned the Third Place Trophy at their first ever competition with a team score of 109.7. Kaylen Kimbel, 8, earned the highest All-Around score on the team with a 36.35 taking second in her age group. She placed third on Floor and Bars, 9.1 and 9.125. She placed forth on Beam, 8.625 and fifth on Vault, 9.5. Erin Gilbert, 8, placed third AA with a 36.125. She earned first on Vault and Bars, 9.7 and 9.275. She placed forth on Floor, 8.8 and fifth on Beam, 8.35. Hannah McCrary, 6, placed first in the AA with a 36.05. She also took first on Vault, 9.6, and first on Bars, 8.95. She placed third on Floor, 8.875 and forth on Beam, 8.45. Becca Gilbert, 8, placed forth in AA, 35.6. She was second on Floor, 9.15, third on Vault, 9.55, and fifth on Bars, 8.7. Lexi Miner, 7, placed 3rd AA, 35.45, third on Bars and Beam, 8.675 and 8.75, sixth, Floor, 8.9, ninth, Vault, 9.125. Haleigh Timberlake, 6, was forth AA, 35.4. She was second on Vault, 9.475, forth Beam, 8.475, fifth, Bars and Floor, 8.45 and 9.0. Abbigail Morrow, 8, placed sixth AA, 35.125. She placed second on Bars, 9.225, fifth Floor, 8.725. Alexa Person, 9, placed fifth AA, 35.075. She took second on Bars, 8.925, third, Vault, 9.5, fifth, Floor, 8.875. Lauren Walker, 9, placed seventh AA, 34.55, fifth, Beam, 8.4, sixth on Bars and Floor, 8.45 and 8.475. Mackenzie Harris, 7, placed sixth AA, 33.15. She took first on Bars, 8.95, sixth, Vault, 9.325, eighth, Floor, 8.625. Kelci Williams, 8, was eighth AA, 33.125 and Ansley Phillips, 10, was eighth AA, 31.825.

ETC’s Level 6 Team placed sixth with a score of 108.65. They were led by Meg Tomayko, 9, with an AA of 35.975 placing forth. She placed forth on Vault with a 9.375, fifth on Bars and Beam, 8.575 and 8.975. Madison Myers, 10, placed forth AA with 35.95. She was also forth on Vault, Bars, and Floor, 9.1, 8.85, and 9.125. She placed fifth on Beam, 8.875. Caitlin Booker, 9, placed fifth AA, 35.55. She placed third on Beam, 9.15 and forth on Bars, 8.6. Tatum Myers, 9, had an AA of 35.3 she earned first on Beam with a 9.5. She placed sixth on Floor with a 9.125. Kennedy Kimbel, 10, placed sixth AA, 35.1. She also placed sixth on Beam, 8.8. DeLaina McDonald, 8, placed forth on Beam with a 9.075. The teams are coached by Shannon Lee, Leslee Kiser and Jenna Lloyd.
